Lessons on hope, love and faith

Twice a year, in April and October I, along with anyone else who would like, gets the opportunity to listen to General Conference of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. It was a wonderfully uplifting weekend filled with message of hope, goodness, and reminders of how much we are loved by our Heavenly Father and Savior Jesus Christ. On the news I have seen supposed appearances of the Virgin Mary on toast, a tree and many other things; and while some of these might be more imagined than others, I know if we just stop and take the time to look no matter how hard and bad things may be we can find good and love. We can find kindness, we can find signs all around us that there is a bigger plan and we are loved.

Conference always leaves me with a determination to try a little harder, be a little better, and to just keep going One Day at a Time.
