I am in desperate need of a new bathing suit. I love my bathing suit but I have loved it for the past seven years. It is starting to get a little thin and has lost a lot of it's elasticity. I have been looking for the past couple of weeks and I have run into a big problem, bikinis! Bikinis everywhere! And well after two kids via c-section my tummy isn't exactly a bikini type of tummy. Every store does have its few token one pieces, ones my grandma would like.
Today at the beach I discovered why stores don't sell one-piece suits, no one wears them! Even the girls that really really should not, i.e. if you have a tire around your middle please don't show it to us!
So today I spent the beach in my capris and a t-shirt, but the water was too cold to swim anyway. So I figure I have about one month to find a decent suit. Wish me luck!

ReplyDeleteI was going to say, look for tankini's. that is what I have. It covers my sins hahaha.. belly! I got mine at good old Walmart.
ReplyDeleteSeriously you need to check out Modbe. I love them! The bottoms aren't my favorite, but you could probably find some cute boy short bottoms or something at a store that would match the tops. The tops are perfect! They are super cute and don't ever show your belly. I got one last summer and I'm thinking about getting another. They run out of the really cute ones quickly so check them out soon!
