I would love someday for my photography to be more than just a hobby. When we were in Utah I did my first unofficial job.. i.e. I took my sister-in-laws family picture for free.I had a lot of fun doing it and realized a few things along the way.. it is harder than I thought it would be,
and I really want a new lens for my camera, like a 55-300mm one
(hint-hint to my family for my birthday or Christmas!)
But in the end I got lots of shots I love and I can't wait to do it again!

Love the "subliminal" message you put in there. hehe. The pictures are great. I worked at a photography place--The Picture People--it was fun and hard. Some people are really easy to please. Some are not at all. Some groups just click with you, others do not. Babies fuss as you know, kids get bored. Etc. But the final product is what makes it fun.
ReplyDeleteThanks again for the great pictures. I already have them printed and framed!
ReplyDeleteYeah good for you! You are much faster at that then me.. I finally got a picture I had printed big (of Alex playing the piano) framed last week.. I took the picture in January.
ReplyDeleteGreat pictures. Too bad you aren't closer to Chi-town. I would hire you in a flash!
ReplyDeleteI think you did a great job...that is my dream job as well!=) Thanks for stopping by my blog today=)
ReplyDeleteI don't know if you've mentioned it before, but what kind of camera do you use? And I love the last picture especially. But I also love the picture with the little girl kind of getting tripped up. Those seriously are the ones that tell a story.
ReplyDeleteI too want to start developing my talent in the photography world, but right now.. all I use is a Kodak point and shoot camera. So maybe a little down the road I can get into something like that.
Wendy-
ReplyDeleteI have a Cannon Rebel G Xti, it was my Christmas present last year. I love it! It is great if you don't know what you are doing, as it can do the work for you, but then can also be totally manual too to get the really good shots.
So far I am just self taught, have read a few books, and mostly just take lots of pictures.
You're lucky to have such a talent! I would love to learn to take great photographs!
