My life has been filled with these lately...lots of them in all colors
Lucas and I use them to make things like this. For a child who can't sit still, he is amazingly patient
Alex likes to use the beads to...
they usually end up like this
or up her nose.
Yep, the Saturday I was gone all morning
(poor Eric had to deal with it)
one of these beads ended up her nose.
Luckily, with a pinch and a good blow it came out
ahh beads.

Sorry, but that's funny! You are lucky you could get it out. A friend of mine ended up in the ER so they could use some tweezer things to get it out. That was not fun.
ReplyDeleteMy kids love these but I have yet to breakdown and get them. they have to get their fix while at Nana's. We haven't had one up the nose yet but polly shoes come out with a good blow too.
ReplyDeleteMy kids would love these, I should look for some. I'm glad it came out of the nose okay. My sister's experience with something in a child's ear was not nearly such a good outcome!
ReplyDeleteI banned all such crafty items while my house was on the market this summer. Now I can't bring myself to get them out again. Sigh. My kids development is suffering so I don't have to clean up beads.
ReplyDeleteThese look really fun! I should buy some since I have older kids (although they might stick them up their noses anyway!)
ReplyDeleteROFL! That totally sounds like something my kids would do.
ReplyDeleteI love those beads!!! I haven't played with those in awhile. Maybe I should get some (uh, you know....for the kids.) HAHA!
I think you're the one that is amazingly patient. What a wonderful project for kidsthough. Maybe I'll get those someday. . . your pictures are really great too!
ReplyDeleteOn the plus side, she knows how to blow her nose. We're still trying to teach that skill to both the wee ones. Gld it came out!
ReplyDeleteI hate those little beads. . .
ReplyDeleteI am not found of them either. Hopefully Alex won't put any more in her nose, or her mouth, or her ears...etc.
ReplyDeletethe scout master shoved m&ms up his nose when he was little, trying to copy his big bro and sis. they ended up in the ER for x-rays and removal. it's a funny story to hear over and over again;-)
ReplyDeleteYour brave. My boys would love these but I can only imagine where they would end up.:)
ReplyDeleteOh my heck... I loved these when I was little. Thanks for dropping by my blog! The Neuff
