If you are going to participate in a big race, you need the proper running attire.
Pajamas-Check, Super-hero Cape-Check, Pot holder on foot-check
And she is off--jumping easily over those turtles, as she calls them
(i.e. hurdles)
But sometimes even with the right equipment, the race is still lost
But wait, the winner is presenting a consolation prize
--the second place person gets chocolate cake!

I thought my kids were the only ones who wore potholders on their feet. I swear they own shoes. They just prefer the potholders.
