Updates and Pictures

Ryder continues to do well. He actually officially made it over his birth weight. He is now a huge 4 lbs and 10 oz :) But every oz or gram, as they measure it in, counts. He also seems to be doing a lot better with nursing and is catching on more and more each time.

We have even been surviving without Eric this week. Obviously we would love if he were here and are so excited to see him on Friday. Here are some pictures from one of Eric's last visits before he went back to California.

    Ryder is such a cutie. I can't even imagine my babies being that small. I hope you will be able to take him home soon.

    his paci is almost as big as his face! I love new borns and how tiny they are with the huge binkis in their mouths. Such wonderful news for you! Still in my prayers.

    Oh, I love these pictures! The one with Eric smiling is so sweet and I LOVE the one where Ryder's eyes are wide open. Can't wait to see him again tomorrow night!

    That pacifier looks ginormous next to his tiny little head. Hope you can take your little man home soon so you can all get back to normal family life. If there is such a thing as normal family life with a newborn.

    he is just so cute! I was updating myself since I haven't been on here for a bit and I am glad to see things are going as well as they are! I'm sorry Eric had to go back but I am so glad you have family here with you, too!

    That green binki looks SO big in his tiny mouth! So glad to hear he is doing so well. And you go, Mama, with the nursing! I know it would be so easy to just give up! You are a rockstar!!

    i have a love/hate relationship with the hospital. love that they helped my kid. hate that i have to be there when i just want everything to be "normal."

    Here I was thinking that you were on vacation - and you had your baby!!! Holy cow! He is adorable! I just went back and read your previous posts so I could be up to speed. Wow. I can't believe I totally missed this. I love the family picture and the ones with the kids. And of course, these ones are cute too. :) I'm glad that Ryder is doing well and that you are feeling better too. A friend of mine just had her baby boy two months early and had to do the whole NICU thing - so hard. They got to bring him home the Friday before Mother's Day & he's doing great. I know you guys are looking forward to that too - that will be awesome. Congratulations!!!
