The wedding was a huge success. It poured rain as we drove to the temple, making it almost hard to see. The ceremony was beautiful. My baby sister was glowing. And when it was done, the downpour had stopped making pictures on the temple grounds possible.
And then the reception, you just have to see the dance my sister and her husband did for their first dance. I will post it here on my blog when we get back home with our fast Internet.
It was a great weekend, I got to see all of my siblings, nieces and nephews. We were all together for the first time in way too many years.
And now we are back to reality. We are flying home today, on my 30th birthday. I have a feeling it might take me a bit to get back into blogging, I have a lot of bridals to edit.
But on Wednesday I will be doing my Ten Things To Smile About. We had a ton of people link up last month, it was awesome so hoping for the same this time.
So hope you are having a great day and I hopefully am too since I am old now.
Happy Birthday! And I wish many years of wedded bliss for your sis!
ReplyDeleteOh and how is little Alex's face? Is she feeling better?

ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday! I got to spend my 30th birthday with my sister that lives overseas. It was one of my best birthdays. Not just because she was here, but I loved turning 30. I felt older, more mature. People could quit thinking I was so young to have so many kids finally. Ok, they still thought I was, but then I could say, NOPE, I'm 30!
ReplyDeleteHappiest Birthday, Emmy! You should be proud of your 30 years; you've accomplished a lot of great things.
