They slept in until their usual time and came into our room, excited to go down. We wait until everyone is up then Eric and I go down first and get everything ready-Christmas tree lights on, windows open for as much light as possible, cameras ready... and then we let them come down and the excitement begins.
Wonderful pictures - looks like a great Christmas morning!
ReplyDeleteGlad you had a good holiday!
ReplyDeleteWhat great day to spend with family. Merry Christmas.
ReplyDeleteDid Santa bring you a baby? :)
ReplyDeleteMy kids woke us up at 5:45-it's the only day of the year some of them get up that early voluntarily.
Great photos--looks like you had a lot of fun.
So fun! I love seeing Ryder in video, I still don't know him enough and it's fun to see him moving his cute little arms. Fun to see Eric open the pretzels too. FUN!
ReplyDeleteHow fun!! Before I had the boys, I kinda lost the joy of the holidays, but now, seeing it through their eyes, it's like I'm a kid all over again.
ReplyDeleteLooks fun! How many different kinds of weird flavored pretzels are there?!
ReplyDeleteI laughed when I saw Eric got food from someone else. Hahaha.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful, happy family!
ReplyDeleteOh Emily...THANK YOU so much for the fabulous glimpse into Christmas at your house. I love the photo of the extended family a lot! Ryder is such a beautiful baby. WOWOW! Alex perfectly charmed me, and Lucas cracked me up the way he got right to his sock by dumping it out. Great approach!!! Love YOU!!!
ReplyDeleteThat does look like a lot of fun and excitement! And what a pile of presents...your kids must have been very good!
