The cycle:
Creation...
Enjoyment....
Rejection...
Preservation...
Erosion and new growth...
Disposing...
Oh, poor left overs.. someday maybe we will learn to eat you.

LOL - your fridge and mine could be BFFs ;)
ReplyDeleteI am usually not in the mood for them the day after and then I forget about them. Then when I remember, I think they sound good but I am always worried if they are too old, so then I don't eat them and they continue to sit!
ReplyDeletehate it when my fridge is full, but yet i feel like there is nothing to eat.
ReplyDeletehahahah looks like my fridge!
ReplyDeleteWe are leftover experts....bring them to lunch for work almost every day. Of course, some do go by the wayside.
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean, sometimes we are good and othertimes I'm just horrified at what we waste!
ReplyDeleteHAHAHAHAHA! I HATE leftovers!!!
ReplyDeleteHa! I love the way that is written! So succinct! Absolutely perfect.
ReplyDeleteRejection often happens immediately after creation in my house. ;-)
ReplyDeleteHahahaha too funny! Although in our house, you eat the leftovers once a week. No matter what. It's a budget helper... so either we eat them, or be hungry that night. We all know I love to eat so I am totally ok with leftovers.
ReplyDeleteI admit that it happens a lot in my house too. :(
ReplyDeleteI clean my fridge when I run out of containers. :P
ReplyDeleteI literally LOL. So true. Plus, I do what Lourie does. No containers left? Must be time to clean out the fridge.
ReplyDeleteSuggestion...get little labels and put the date on your food. Then you know when to throw it out, and when it is safe to eat.
Ugh, you just reminded me that I have some containers just like that waiting to be thrown out in my frig!
ReplyDeleteWe are the same way in our house!
ReplyDeleteI need to do that too! Luckily, we took care of most of it, but the dark meat turkey is still sitting there, BEGGING to be let go.
