Ten Things to Smile About

The first month of the new year is officially over! I have a feeling this year is going to go just as quickly as last year. I was about to say it won't be quite as exciting, since I won't be having a baby but we probably will be moving.. so a different type of exciting. I have to admit this month I had to think a little harder about this list as it has now been 21 consecutive days that Eric has worked-many of these days 13+ hours... and we have all been sick. But I am a glass half full kind of girl and there is always something good that can be found. So here is

Ten Things to Smile About: January

1. Enjoying winter in SoCal with extended family
2. Finally getting the bridal section up on my photography website

3. Despite Eric working 13+ hour days, still being able to go out together a few times

4. Enjoying almost perfect 70 degree weather almost the entire month
5. Actually starting to take pictures again and figuring out what I am doing with my former 365 blog

6. Holding a sleeping baby

7. This picture

8. Watching mindless shows at the end of the day when I am too tired to do anything else, like Wipeout and American Idol

9. Getting iMovie11 and making some fun movie trailers


10. Park days and meeting new friends

    We're -11 right now. Toasty!
    I'm sitting in front of the woodburning stove trying to get the nerve up to climb into freezing sheets.

    The only thing I can say about January is that it is OVER!

    OK seriously, with Ryder in the grass with sunglasses?!??! LOVE IT! We have been loving the weather, too. Luxky, lucky us. Hope everyone feels tons better this week and February gets off to a great start!

    As I look at your post and think of mine yours are all sunny and spring looking while mine were all white.

    Great list! I am especially loving the picture of Alex and ryder in the grass since we are in a blizzard as I type this. I love snow but can't wait for spring.

    Oh no. Moving is dreadful and time consuming and stressful but all those pictures up there made me so happy too! How cute!! LOVE LOVE LOVE cute pics of little childrens and babies. They melt my heart!

    My fingers are SO COLD today in our 17 degree weather. Your outside pictures are calling to me!! I'm so glad there are things to smile about in every month, in every situation! I love your list!!

    That bowling video rocked and your baby photos always look like something out of a magazine.
