A Winner on Monday

It's a Monday holiday again. Our last Monday holiday we spent the day with CA Girl and her family, today we don't have any plans yet. I had better hurry and remedy that or it might be a long day as my kids have decided fighting is a lot more fun than getting along lately.

I can't decide if I like Monday or Friday holidays better. With a Monday holiday then I am usually confused all week as to what day it is and sometimes Friday seems to come around quickly. But Friday holidays feel more like a 3 day weekend to me but then you are anticipating it all week. So there a good things about both.

    We like Monday holidays better around here. Todd gets off so early on Fridays anyway, that it practically seems like a holiday every week by dinner. Unfortunately, he doesn't have today off though. . .

    I think Friday is better for the 3 day weekend. It is a little less screwy that way.

    We have some serious cabin fever here, with the snow and all, so this Monday holiday isn't exactly lots of fun. More like fighting and fussing. It wouldn't be so bad if I could take the boys outside.

    It's always nice to not have to worry about work or school on Sundays when you have Monday off but I really can't decide since both mean my kids will be home, bored and fighting...

    I like Friday holidays better. This weekend already seemed long and my children needed a break from each other...so to have Monday be a holiday...nope, I wanted to send them to school any way.

    I personally like friday holidays so much better. They seem more relaxing. I am not sure why. Possibly because it is at the beginning rather than the end. That is all.
    That is such a darling bag and I really wish I had entered. So sad for me. But yay for Mary Beth!
