The Status Quote

It's that time again. Time to find those funny/weird/bizzare facebook or twitter status updates, copy them for all of us to share and enjoy. This is a monthly meme that CA Girl and I do and we would love for you to play along.

So here are some of the status I found this last month with my commentary in blue.

"Just heard a giant CRASH in my 4 year old's room. A few moments later he came out and started looking for a glue stick." as a parent you know that sometimes silence is worse than noise-but well not in this case.

"Some of God's greatest gifts are unanswered prayers." And this is exactly why every night I pray to hear Garth Brooks songs.""-- I love country music but this is too funny

"I hate when the cops throw me in the back of the squad car like they didn’t hear me call shotgun."-- LOL! I always used to call shotgun trying to beat my little sister to the front seat

"Bacon status week 2: In the 12th century, an English church promised a side of bacon to any married man who could swear before God that he had not fought with his wife for a year and a day. This is where the term "bring home the bacon" originated."--yes this is from my BIL he LOVES bacon-I love finding out where known expressions come from

"Pretty sure political status updates are my least favorite. Honestly, i'd rather hear about your potty problems."- yes I once defriended someone because this is all he did

"Ugh, I wish there was a magic pill for this. So sick I can't even sleep."-if only there were magic pills for many things in life, like making kids behave, making money appear, making our neighbors dog stop barking--oh wait there may be one for that last one.
