Blog Friends Meet

Good morning! Or Afternoon, or evening depending on when you are reading this. So far we are not only surviving spring break but enjoying it. Some of my enjoyment has come from reading the Hunger Games. I am about halfway through the second book right now and just ask Eric, I have a a very hard time putting it down.

I did put it down for a few hours yesterday when I went out to lunch. This wasn't just any lunch but Lourie (CA Girl) and I went out to lunch with the famous Glamazon! She is in SoCal enjoying Disney Land with her family but she took a little break from the Magic Kingdom to have lunch with us.

Lourie and I got there a bit early so we stopped in Ross and did some shopping and let me just say I got the best outfit for Ryder's 1 year old picture-which is one month from today!!! What the heck!

So after shopping we headed over to meet Glamazon. Glamazon was one of the first blogs I followed, I have been following her since her blog name was a bit longer. You might recognize her name as she is the creator of Friday Confessionals.

We entered the restaurant and one thing was apparent, it was going to be a great lunch and I was by far the shortest, though I totally expected it. Glamazon and CA Girl but come in right around 6', I am 5'5"-but I am used to hanging out with the tall crowd, my husband is 6'8" after all.

During lunch we talked food, we talked kids, we talked blogging-yes we were talking about some of you out there. It was just a lot of fun. The time went quickly then it was time to head back home to releave Kristin of her duties of watching my kids.
