This weeks questions are:
{1} What is the first thing you notice about the opposite sex? Are you an eyes or a smile person? Maybe another body part?
A: I would like to think it is the eyes-but really I think it is probably the nose and mouth-bad teeth and a really weird nose can definitely be a turn off.
{2} If a movie was being made about you who would you like to see cast to play you? And would your movie be a comedy, drama, romantic-comedy, action film or a horror movie?
A:I would have to go with romantic-comedy-I'm not quite the horror/slasher film personality. I would love if Sandra Bullock played me as I just really like her. Though I have been told I look like Ellen Page so if we were going for straight looks maybe her.
{3} Does your high school yearbook include a senior comment section? If so share what you said about your future goals. Have you met those goals? If you do not have a yearbook just share what your goals where when you were 18 and if you have met them. If you’re brave enough include your Senior Picture!
A: Our year book didn't have a section-I don't think.. would have to go drag it out to know for sure, but when I was a senior I wanted to go into journalism but ultimately knew I wanted to stay home with my kids. After I realized how many grammar-type classes Journalism would require I quickly changed my mind. I ended up graduating in psychology and worked as a Foster Care worker for a year and a half and then began our family and reached my ultimate goal.
And while I didn't have time to find my senior picture (Seriously Mamarazzi-you are a schedule your post kind of girl you should understand the need to get the questions sooner-maybe put next week's questions at the end of the post??) I did hurry and take a picture of a photo of me and my best friend from high school right after high school graduation. My hair was a bit of a mess thanks to those lovely graduation caps-but here it is
{4} What latest trend simply baffles you?
Trend-what trend? Truly I don't keep up with trends... though maybe I should a little more. When the 80's style first came back I was so annoyed and repulsed-seriously the 80's-but a lot of it has grown on me I must admit.
{5} When you walk into a room how do you present yourself? Do you walk in with confidence and command the attention of others or do you slink in and do your best to go unnoticed?
Okay when I first read this-late last night, I totally thought it said when you walk into a bathroom! Haha and I thought-well if I am doing some serious business I probably try and go unnoticed. But to answer the real question, I don't know if I would say I demand attention, but I definitely have my head held high and a smile on my face, especially if I am dressed nicely. We move a lot and so I have learned that I just have to jump into things and extend myself I want to ever have any friends.
Fun questions ladies!
So head over to one of those four ladies blogs and join in this fun meme.
And don't forget tomorrow is the introduction of a new meme that Kmama and I are hosting-you don't want to miss this!
Okay, you haven't changed since your h/s picture. That is WRONG.
ReplyDeleteAnd you DO look like Ellen Page. Actually, she looks like you...cuz she's like 12 and you look 13...so it works. LOL Just kidding, you don't look 13. Maybe 15. :) I wish!
The nose is a good one especially since it never sops growing. Do you really want to celebrate your 50th with a man with a huge bulbous nose?
ReplyDeleteSandra is a great choice but I agree you do look like Ellen Page.
You look like a baby in that picture!
We have no choice but to let them grow on us do we? I won't go down without a fight on a few things though!
I love self-confidence but not arrogance and cockiness. Sounds like you've got that one down!
Yes Ellen Page does look like you. But I would Sandra Bullock. I just like her. haha. You do look about the same. Hmmmm...wonder how I looked at 30 compared to 17/18. I mean it's only 12 years right?
ReplyDeleteI don't think I would be willing to show any senior pictures. Blah. And I am not thrilled with the 80's style coming back. I thought I would be. But meh. Not so much.
These were good questions.
I love MiMi's comment. You are like 13 and she's like 12. LOL
ReplyDeleteSo how DO you walk into a bathroom? ;) Good answers. Happy Wednesday.
ReplyDeleteGreat choice in actresses!! And I'm so glad you'd go unnoticed in the bathroom doing your buiz... hah.. Cute sR. Pic.. what were ya'll's colors? White and???
ReplyDeleteLove your blog!! Gonna follow b/c I need coupon help and figure if you've dedicated a whole linky to it, then you must know! hah!
I was scared the other day when walking through Walmart I saw acid washed jeans again. Acid washed! the fad that should have died and stayed dead in the 80s.
ReplyDeleteAt least the hair has not come back--yet!
Is Shawn telling the truth? Does your nose really never stop growing??? THE HORROR!
ReplyDeleteI remember teasing one of my friends for having a white graduation gown (she went to another h.s.) because you could see all of the colors from her dress underneath. It just looked silly! That's a super cute picture. :)
I could totally see Ellen Page playing you! The graduation pic didn't come through for me. :( Gonna check on my puter at home later. Agree with the 80s coming back - they should've stayed where they were. Good for you for going in to a situation chin-up - it's the only way to go.
ReplyDeleteFun questions!
ReplyDeleteI really don't think you look much different in you senior picture. That's okay though, I've looked the same since ninth grade! ;)
Agree totally on #1!
ReplyDeleteSomebody else said Sandra. I love her. I want to rip Jesse James a new one for hurting her but Ellen does resemble you. I like that choice too.
WOW! You look almost the exact same! How did you do that? I need to use your cleansing system!!
I can picture you walking into a room like that. That fits the picture in my head of you!
Thanks for linking up with us!
Do you age?? Seriously so jealous!
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, you do look like Ellen Page! That is sort of weird.
ReplyDeleteI shuddered when I first saw leg warmers on pants. Really? And I am with you on the 80's styles. I really do not like that style at all! But it probably beats the 70's so I guess I can't complain too much.
I'm glad you said something about wanting the questions earlier. I agree and I've heard the same from a bloggy friend! Great idea.
ReplyDeleteThe 80's trend baffles me.
ReplyDeleteYou DO look like Ellen Page! Or she looks like YOU!
ReplyDeleteI wish I'd made it to my final career goal too! Jealous :)
Cracking up at your bathroom comment, hee hee!
You look so much like Ellen Page!
ReplyDeletehahahaha, ok yes if that last question was about walking into a bathroom then my answer would be very different!
