Is It Home?

It has been just a little over a month since we moved to our new home.

But I think the reality is finally sinking in.

My parents were here the first couple of weeks and then we went on vacation for a week.

But now we are back with only every day life and school to look forward to for now....

Reality doesn't seem so fun right now.

But I do have a lot of stories to tell-including about when I almost flipped over a go-kart.

But for today I am knee-deep in the hundreds of pictures I took during the vacation-including a photo shoot of Alex and my cute nieces.

So I'll be back tomorrow with lots of fun stories.Me at "work" --taken by my SIL Rachel

    I feel overwhelmed with pictures too, and I didn't take nearly as many as you!

    We miss you guys so much already!!!

    And I found Lucas's shirt in my laundry basket this morning . . .

    It takes a while for me to feel like a place is home. I was surprised to realize that we've been back in NC for almost 2 years... and I still say things like "oh, we recently moved back..."

    Reality sometimes stinks, doesn't it? Such is life I suppose!

    I am with Mimi! Total lens envy. Plus, if I ever got down like that, I would never get back up. And if I did my knees would scream at me for the rest of the day. Haha. Welcome home. :)

    I love the way you edit pictures. That picture of your nephew eating a cupcake is beautiful. I wish I had the software and skills to make pictures look that great! I like to play around with free photo-editing software sometimes but I'm not that great at it. =P
