It was hot.
It was hot and we needed something to do.
Sprinklers in the backyard were the perfect solution.

Though he wasn't so sure...
But then he saw his sister going down the slide
He watched his sister get a few drinks
and then he was ready
Hope you all have a great weekend!!
Wow! Those are some awesome pictures! I just love them! What a great story in photos!! I can't believe (well, knowing what I know about her I can) that Alex just sticks her face in the sprinklers like that! My kids are little chickens! :)
ReplyDeleteWell he sure loved the sprinkler more than the beach! And I guess me and Rich are both poops because we wouldn't get out there and play. Haha. I think my faces are: Alex with her face in the water and your mom holding Ryder. So sweet. Give him a squeeze for me. :)
ReplyDeleteSo sweet! Sprinklers immediately remind me of my childhood summers, and I have a very difficult time convincing my boys that they can be a blast. I might have to show them your photos. Love the way your daughter relishes in every drop. So fun.
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend!

ReplyDeleteThose photos are amazing! Love them. And what fun. It is certainly a mandatory part of summer for a child.
ReplyDeleteI'm amazed at your pictures every time I see them. The ones in the sprinkler where you can see all the water droplets are awesome!!!
ReplyDeleteOh my . . . The black and white of Ryder is amazing! I love how you told the story to go the photos. Perfect summer post! Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteAmazing photos! Love the story behind them! Sprinklers are a big hit around these parts too!

ReplyDeleteI wish you were in Austin so I could hire you to do our family pictures. We need to get some done and I can't decide who to do them with.
ReplyDeleteI love that last picture of Ryder and your mother, I'm pretty sure she treasured every single moment of being there with her grandchildren... it looks like that from her face :)
ReplyDeleteAnd 'hi', sorry I haven't been around, it's been a crazy week.

What fun! I am so glad that everyone got wet. He looks like he has a great time!
ReplyDeleteHow fun! Isn't it funny how the younger ones want to do whatever their siblings are doing? Daisy never wants to be left behind!
