Which way to go...

****Please don't forget, you can link up with your monthly Ten Things To Smile About posts any time this week- just click here.**

I haven't updated my website- no, not this blog I do that all the time. I haven't updated my photography website.

It still has my old logo and my old city.

I love taking pictures, I truly do- so what is stopping me?

I am sure partly due to the fact that I have been crazy busy...

But when I have time, nothing.

Maybe it is the fact that we might move again in a year so I feel like why bother...

But I can't.

I can't do that. I can't wait to live life and my passion until we are settled...
as truly, who knows if we will ever be.

School starts in just a couple of weeks and I think this is making me realize what is truly important...my children.

Though, I don't always remember that during the day when I get busy doing my stuff.

So there my website sits... Old ugly watermark, none of my new pictures.

Though my husband- bless his heart- spent all evening trying to figure out a new gallery system for me as the one I am using will soon be no longer.

So there I sit...being pulled in both directions- which makes me not move st all.

Maybe when school starts...

I am linking up today with Shell's Pour Your Heart Out.

  1. I do the same thing. Kind of freeze when I don't know what to do, or if I have two opposing sides pulling at me.

You are awesome at photography!! I think that if it's your passion, you need to follow that. It will make you happy.

  2. Sometimes you need to sit still a long time before making a move. there's a zen quote in there, but I forget it ;)

  7. It took me a long time to adjust to my move to Austin. Now I can't imagine myself anywhere else. Hopefully you find your true home soon.

  8. I think you will make your move on it when the time is right. And you'll know when that is. Try not to beat yourself up about it! :)

  9. I tend to feel that way about projects when I am not feeling settled- we move a lot, just like you. I wonder if I'll ever really feel settled. Guess we both need to learn to go ahead with things anyway. xo

  10. I think you are in a boat with tons of other people on this one. You will get back to it when it is natural and right. You kids really are your top priority and you should cherish and enjoy them before school starts back up. Perhaps then you will have a better opportunity for your photography. Sometimes God likes it when we are just still. Don't feel as though you are failing just because you are "still", think of it as a time to refresh and refocus.

  11. Yeah, I tend to do the same thing. I know I have something I need to get going and I just sit. I get overwhelmed.

  12. When I'm feeling overwhelmed and unsure, I tend to do the same thing. Hopefully, in time, you'll get it all figured out and get back to doing something you love.

  15. You are a busy mommy. Give yourself a break. Just relax, take a deep breath, and then jump in.
