Ryder is switching to, or should I say trying to switch to, one nap. Kind of makes me want to cry. Not only does it mean he is growing up but it also means no 100% free time for mama. Alex has preschool on Tuesday and Thursday mornings and so after we drop her off Ryder would usually take a nap and it was total me time. Oh well, it will go fast and I will wish for these days, it will go fast and I will wish for these days. That is what I keep repeating to myself.
So in honor of losing more free time I finally joined Twitter! Seems kind of counter intuitive I know, but well I did it. My user name is @Emmymom2 so come find me- you can even click the little blue button I added on my sidebar or what the heck click it right here

And and... yes another And.. I am using Instagram now. Instagram is a cool photo app where you can do some fun one-click edits- the pictures all end up the cool vintage square type- and then you share them on your page (or you can keep your pictures private). You can follow your friends-- my Instagram name is Emmymom (no 2 this time). If you want to see some random pictures I am taking. Here are a few I recently added.

Now if I just had time to fix my photography website.. and my blog... starting to itch for a redesign (any new designers want free advertising???). I think I need just a week to myself... heck I would take a total day... and some money to go shopping with too. Oh and someone to shop with-- like CA Girl!! Hmm that might be a good birthday present! Look- I thought of something Eric!

ReplyDeleteI have to say that I love Pinterest - I tried to sign up and they put me on a waiting list but I still like to look around - there are so many cool and creative things there. I will check out your Pinterest.
I'm on everything, but honestly, I don't get to spend enough time doing any of it! I did follow you back on twitter too, and I tweeted to ya!

ReplyDeleteI haven't been able to give myself to twitter-- I did create an account a year or more ago and I haven't been back b/c it was too confusing to me-- plus I don't have a lot to say on FAcebook, so I didn't want to lead anyone on with Twitter.. heh

I keep trying to tweet and I am very sporadic about it. I have a difficult time stopping and tweeting every time something comes in to my head. It is easier than sitting down to do a full blog though.
I am looking to do a redesign too so if you get any good leads, let me know. I have to change my "logo."
I totally don't speak Twitter. I just don't get it. I don't think I need anymore social media seeings how I am a social butterfly and all ;) I did join Google+ but I don't get it either. I am rather dense..

Well when I can wrestle my phone away from Brennan I mus admit I always do four things: check good old fashioned fb where i find that out of 500 people, NO ONE is updating their status nearly enough to keep me entertained, then text, then email, and then I play words with friends. It is rare for me to make it through the checklist before Brennan wants my phone back. He starts preschool in two weeks where I will have two hours to myself if I can get max down right after we drop him off. This hasn't happened for a very very long time. Brennan dropping his nap last spring was tragic.

ReplyDeleteOh man, Jayce switched to one big nap a few months back (I should have waited until just now though because he is just now okay with it. haha) I do miss the 2 naps, and I really didn't think I would. I hope he transitions well for you!
