Yesterday I went with Alex's preschool class to a local Pumpkin Patch...or more like a glorified road side pumpkin stand.
Alex...loved all of the animals in the petting zoo;
Ryder...wasn't quite sure- he would get close but never touch.
Alex...
loved sitting by the pumpkins to get her picture taken;
Ryder...
yea, not so much.
Alex...
loved the bounce house and giant slide;
Ryder...
don't think he really liked it.
So 50/50- not bad odds I guess.
But to Ryder's credit he is getting a cold and slept horribly the night before.

Oh poor baby! Those pictures make me want to swoop him up and hold him until it's all better.
ReplyDeleteAww! Look at those tears in that last picture. Poor Ryder. He was miserable, wasn't he??
ReplyDeleteAlex looks darling, and you can really see how much taller she is than her peers.
Oh man. Pumpkin patches make me cry too. Paying $15 for a dang pumpkin brings tears to my eyes!
ReplyDeleteOh Poor buddy!!!! It sucks when one kid is having a blast and the other is just so miserable. :(
ReplyDeleteAh such a fun place to be for such sad tears! Poor little guy! At least Alex was having a great time!!
ReplyDeleteThat looks like a fun place.
ReplyDeletePoor Ryder! Emma has a cold right now too and our weather has cooled off drastically so we've been cooped up at home and I'm about to go insane!
ReplyDeleteYou got some cute pics of Alex though!
Awww poor Ryder! Lol. They are great in the moment shots though. And I know I just saw them but gees Alex is really growing up!! Crazy. And yeah... Totally a glorified pumpkIn stand... but hey the kids were happy and that is what counts. I hope Ryder feels better soon.
ReplyDeleteAwww poor little guy!
ReplyDeleteLove the pics!
I mean, he must be feeling a bit under the weather if even goats couldn't put a smile on his face- who doesn't like goats?! ;)
ReplyDeleteKnow what I love about this post- how differently dressed all the kids are! Around here we are beginning to wear sweatshirts, jeans and socks already!!!
It might be wrong, but I think baby tears are adorable!!
ReplyDeleteThose are some seriously cute pictures. I love the quality!~
Aw poor little buddy.
ReplyDeleteI loved the pictures, but poor Ryder! He's still so cute though. My little guy has a cold right now and has been a sorry case too.
ReplyDeleteAww, poor little guy! He is still suck a cutie!
ReplyDeleteWell, ryder looks cute even when he's crying! Glad Alex had fun, and she looks cute with her hair like that!!
ReplyDeleteI'm coming to find that it's pretty hard for both kids to be happy at the same time. Sigh.
ReplyDeleteOhhh, poor Ryder!!
ReplyDeleteAw, poor Ryder was probably just tired and poopy feeling.
ReplyDeleteAlex, on the other hand, looks like she had a BLAST!! That one picture she looks like Pippy Longstocking! :)
That sure is the perfect picture if you want to show a sad baby face...poor guy.And Alex..so cute! her red hair!!..you are one of those lucky moms! :)
ReplyDeletelook at that face! poor baby! looks like she had a ton of fun though!
ReplyDeletewhich reminds me that i need to get my tush out to a pumpkin patch soon!
Alex is really looking so grown up!!! And I love the photos of Ryder. Every photo I have of the Princess before the age of 4 looks like that. And she wasn't sick :)
