Happy Feet Two Review And Giveaway

My kids are always wanting to watch a new show. What new show do we have they will ask? Next week on March 13th they will be able to watch a "new show" with the Blu-ray 3D Combo Pack release of Happy Feet Two from Warner Home Entertainment Group.

Here is a quick trailer in case you haven't seen it.

We haven't seen it yet but it looks really cute and have you seen the list of actors who did the voices? Brad Pitt, Matt Damon, Pink, Robin Williams just to name a few.

With the upcoming release of the DVD there is also a Happy Feet Two App available here through Apple's iTunes store. The most awesome thing is that the Free App will sink with the Blu-ray disc to provide enhanced content and interactive features. I saw a few previews and it looked awesome.

I downloaded the App and asked Lucas to play it. At first he did not want to as he wanted to play another game but as soon as I showed him the "talking" penguin he was hooked. In the App you can speak and the penguin will repeat what you said in cute penguin voice. He thought this was hilarious and literally did it for the next hour; making the penguin laugh, say silly things and a high pitch squeal which he is so fond of- though not his mother as much. I didn't even get a chance to show him the coloring pages and other features of the app as he just loved making the penguin talk. Ryder had fun talking to the penguin and said "Rydee" and smiled and beamed with pride when it said "Rydee" back.

And that was just the Free Happy Feet Two App on it's own not paired with the DVD. I can only imagine how awesome it will be paired with the Blu-Ray DVD combo pack.

The Blu-ray 3D Combo Pack, Blu-ray Combo Pack and DVD include an UltraViolet Digital Copy of the standard definition theatrical version of the film, which means you can download and instantly stream the film to many computers, tablets and smartphones. Things like this make my husband very happy, as we are very much a digital family.

The best part, I was provided a UltraViolet Digitial Copy of Happy Feet Two to give to one of my readers. Yes, it isn't going to be released until the 13th, but I have a copy right here in my hands ready to send to the winner--who will actually be picked on the 13th.

So you know, the UltraViolet Digital Copy allows you to collect, watch and share movies in a whole new way. Available for free with specially marked Blu-ray discs and DVDs, UltraViolet lets you access digital copies of movies from a cloud to enjoy on many different devices. UltraViolet Digital Copies can be downloaded for offline viewing and streamed to computers and compatible Android, iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad devices. Some devices require Wi-Fi for streaming. Does not include iTunes file. Restrictions and limitations apply. Go to ultraviolet.flixster.com/info for details.

So you ready? I will be using Rafflecopter again as it really makes it easy. Just follow the instructions to enter for a chance to win a pre-release version of Happy Feet Two. The first step will ask you to leave a comment telling your favorite movie to watch with kids-- that is all you will have to do to enter and the rest of the steps are optional bonus entries (make sure you use RaffleCopter to let me know you left that comment as I will use it to draw the winner). The giveaway will be open through next Monday the 12th at 12:01 AM EST. The winner with announced on the 13th- to help celebrate the day the DVD is officially released.

Disclaimer: Happy Feet Two is a product of Warner Bros. Home Entertainment. I was provided a free copy of the UltraViolet Digital Copy to reward one of my readers in return for my time. All feeling and opinions are truthful and my own.

  10. My kids are awesome. They like to watch The Tick with me, or Avatar: The Last Air Bender. Yup, we are not Disney die hards.
P.S. I have missed you! Sorry for being away for so long. I think I may have things figured out now. Just balancing time is quite a tight rope act.
