When I just had my first child- I would have freaked out with this kind of mess
'No he is making such a mess, it is going to stain his clothes'.
By the time I had my second
I simply shrugged it off- knowing kids get messy no matter what you do
Now that I have a third
I hurry and get the camera out
Because soon he won't get messy quite like this
Especially from simply eating pizza.
All pictures pretty much straight out of camera- just did a little sharpening and brightening

He is super cute. I love his curls.
ReplyDeleteI had to laugh that it was just from pizza. I was thinking it was pasta. LOL
That takes super talent to spread it around in such a manner. I'm in awe of the speckle design.
ReplyDeleteha ha! What a cutie! I need to embrace the messes more!
ReplyDeleteMy second born is that messy, all the time! My first born hardly ever made a mess so I never had to freak out. I too love to take messy pictures. Especially after his cake smash!! Check it out!

I love the messy face! I did a post today about a different kind of mess.
ReplyDeleteI feel like that even with my first. The things I thought I'd never do (like give her processed food or desserts before the age of 1), I find myself doing more and more as the days go by.
ReplyDeletehaha! He's cute even with the mess, or maybe because of it too! I don't think I'll ever let that go, even with my third. I'm too stuffy. :)
ReplyDeleteI did the same thing from child no. 1 to child no. 3
ReplyDelete:)
I think life with 3 kids is suppose to be mess. My uncle was commenting that my grandfather had rings on his tables that he was really bothered by and I thought-- don't come to my house! Its a major disaster and you'd be upset over more than just a water ring on a table!! Messes are cute and fun for pictures--I just have to remember what its like to be a kid and that helps me get through it.
ReplyDeleteBut look how happy he looks!
ReplyDeleteKids love being messy! :)
ReplyDeleteHahaha!!! I was totally the same way! Love those pics, Emmy :)
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness!!! I am loving that sweet, messy face!! Priceless photos.
ReplyDeleteexactly:-)
ReplyDeleteThese are so great! My favorites are the 3rd and the 6th one!
ReplyDeleteI am so the mom that was like you with your first. I do not like messes unless they are outside! :o)
He's a lucky kid … he'll get to enjoy his messes and have them all documented!! Sometimes it pays to be third!! LOVING his hair!!!
ReplyDeleteCute! I'm still not a fan of spaghetti...:)
ReplyDeletehow precious and you're right they grow up way to fast
ReplyDeleteToo cute!!!
ReplyDeleteThat was me with my first born, now with the second I'm definitely more relaxed and at ease with whatever mess is made. I am learning to enjoy them more each day even with mess and all. ;)
ReplyDeleteI have always loved messy pictures... probably because one of my favorites of myself was me between 1 and 2 covered in spaghetti.
ReplyDeleteBut that's impressive from pizza. I thought for sure it was spaghetti with sauce!
Lol I love messy eating pics of kids!
ReplyDeleteThats hilarious and so cute!
ReplyDeleteworth the mess!
ReplyDeleteIsn't that funny how we change? And they do get messy. I was just thinking the other day...Kristin would always have the dirtiest neck. No matter what. Like...grow a garden on it. Not anymore. So yeah...we need to break out the camera often. :) Love these pics.
ReplyDeleteI just spent yesterday running after Edy because she was wearing piggies for the first time. Who knew the stuff we would do just to make sure we remember it?
ReplyDeleteHe is super adorable too!
I never even freaked out about with the first and only... it's just too much fun watching them explore! And Ryder looks utterly adorable - love those expressions and those curls!
