As a mom you never know quite what you are going to hear coming from your kids mouths. The things they say espeically taken out of context- or with no context given (as will be the case today) can be pretty hilarious. The following are all real things I have heard around my house in only the last month and these are only the ones I remembered to write down.
"He's not playing fair because he didn't let you blow up daddy!"
"I peed on the cookie!"
"I always know, as I have a good remembery"
"I don't want to follow Satan and it seems like you are following Satan"
"Get off my royal feet!"
"I always tell the truth, well sometimes I don't"
"I always have a fingernail clipper with me; it's called my mouth."
What funny things have you heard?
I don't know- my mind went blank while reading all of these classics!!! Oh my goodness, the Satan one!!!!
ReplyDeletehave a great weekend Emmy :)
omg i was laughing so hard kids are wonderful
ReplyDeleteThe peeing on a cookie one seems to have a story behind it...at least I hope it does. LOL
ReplyDeleteThese are great.
so funny!!! How cute to write these things down to always remember!
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh - those are awesome! Thanks for the laugh :)
ReplyDeletethat is funny! :) THanks for sharing your site and for allowing me to share mine with you :) I am looking forward to reading your blog :) Its very uplifting to me!
ReplyDeleteThose are all hilarious! My mind went blank.. I'm sure sometime later today they will pop in to my head and I will hurry back here to share :)
ReplyDeleteI know who said at least a couple of these. ;) And peeing on cookies happens here too.
ReplyDeletetoo funny! the finger nail clipper one, oh man! ew! :) My favorite is when Madeline yells, "you are ridicleous" instead of ridiculous.
ReplyDeleteWAIT. Someone peed on a perfectly good cookie? Oh no.
ReplyDeleteI don't want to follow Satan either. He's an evil man.
HA! Those are cute! Happy Friday!
haha oh nice!
ReplyDeleteMy step-daughter asked my uncle if he or my dad was older (my dad is btw) and my uncle said I'm younger. She said, well you don't look it.
ack! :)
Hahaha..too funny!!
ReplyDeleteThe other day PJ asked me where Daddy went, and I said he went to work. He followed up with "Daddy go dancing?"
ReplyDelete"He peed on the cookie" ahahahahahahah!!!! I'm sure I will hear that one day!
ReplyDeleteI can't wait for these moments when Nolan gets older :) Too funny!
ReplyDeleteSo cute. Who has royal feet? The cost to dress them must be very expensive.
ReplyDeleteThose are all great!
ReplyDeleteI had to laugh at my son the other day. He and his sister where talking in the backseat of the car and she paid him a complement. He didn't seem to know what to say....so he said, I work out!
I think he's listening to too much of MY music.
Ok had to share... I am in the car, driving... the music is loud and a great song is on... My youngest is just in the back being loud making wierd sounds and my 5 year old says, " MOM THE WORLD IS QUIET" LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteHahahaha about the fingernail clipper!!
ReplyDeleteOne time I heard a, "He peed on the bug!"
Curious about the cookie one … and I just love the "fingernail clipper" one. That is a good point. At least he/she didn't say "toenail clipper."
ReplyDeleteSo funny. Donut is not really talking yet, but the things I say probably sound funny to an outside observer: Donut, take the diaper off your head!
ReplyDeleteHahahaha!! Those are great!! I get funnies from the preschoolers..the other day after we took the kids to the bathroom a little boy kept fidgeting with himself so I asked him if his peepee was ok, he said, "No, it's up and I want it down."
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, those are crazy sayings!
ReplyDeleteI need to carry a notepad... the best one lately was a conversation between The Girl and a coworkers son, in ear shot of the coworker. 'Do you know what sex is?" "No, but whatever it is, I know it's really gross!" from both, "EWWWW!" and I'm totally okay with that!
ReplyDeleteHa! That is the best! You must have written them down right away. I always forget all the crazy stuff my kids say.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite is the one about telling the truth...LOL!
JDaniel's favorite phrase right now is "You are not being nice" to which I reply "No, I am being a mom!" He hates that answer.
ReplyDeleteThese are hilarious! I write down stuff too & post once in a while about the funny things my girls say. Totally cracks me up with what kids can come up with LOL
ReplyDeleteThat are so incredibly sweet (and funny)! It reminds me of all the fantastic things my nephew says, although I admit I cannot remember any at the moment!
ReplyDeleteCan't help but have a good laugh at what you wrote. Kids are so random with the things they say. One that still tickles me was when one of my sons said to me: "Mom I want to kiss your brownies." Referring to my eyebrows. LOL. Thanks for sharing.
