We were there to let the bunnies get some exercise and play with them so they are used to being held when they are adopted out.
My kids were happy to oblige.
Lucas' favorite was the kind of naughty/hyper one that looked just like this mama. Should that worry me?
Oh and what does this look like to you?
Did you say a turd?
Look again- do you see it?
Yea me too-- but this turd was actually some really good tri-tip cooking on the grill.
Not sure why it looked so much like a turd though.
But hey it made ya smile huh?
A perfect segue to remind you that tomorrow will be your chance to link up with Ten Things to Smile About This Month! I started this meme after a rough month where I just needed to look back and find something good to smile about. So grab the button and share your list tomorrow!
That's sweet that the kids got to play with the bunnies!
ReplyDeleteBut yeah on the turd. For sure!
LOL at it looking like a turd. At first I didn't have a clue (turd came to mind), but then I saw the grill. ;-)
ReplyDeleteBunnies are cute...in other people's houses/yards (not mine).
I bet my parents would have let me keep my bunny if they had know they could potty train it!
ReplyDeleteI have to laugh at you calling that a turd, because my sister taught my kids that word when she was visiting and now they say it all the time.
Who knew bunnies could be potty trained? Totally didn't know that!
ReplyDeleteThose pictures of the bunnies are too adorable. I had to giggle when I saw the "turd". Thanks for the smile today!
ReplyDeleteThat's so neat that your kids got to help with the bunnies :D I only knew they were potty train-able because I grew up in and around 4-H, and a few of our members had rabbits. Love the tritip turd!
ReplyDeleteHow fun! And yes made me laugh! HAHA
ReplyDeleteI thought it looked interesting...!!!!
ReplyDeleteOh my those bunnies are adorable and my kids would do just about anything to get one.... thankfully I'm sticking with the no pets rule!
ReplyDeleteNow I didn't think of a turd till you said something! I thought that maybe you were going to say that one of the kids thought it was a bunny or something terrible like that!
You did make me smile...that post was all smiles, start to finish!
ReplyDeleteI love this post! And the accompanying pictures are so sweet!!
ReplyDeleteMy guy would have loved getting to spend time with a bunny too.
ReplyDeleteBunnies scare me. I don't know why but I think it has to do with the fact that they are so cute.
ReplyDeleteYep, yep, yep! I raised bunnies when I was a Lassie. I had a really friendly Buck that I would take on my baby sitting jobs with me, and he was potty trained. The kids loved it!
ReplyDeleteI used to breed them around Easter time and sell the babies for 2 dollars each, yeah, I'm living off my bunny retirement as we speak! NOT!!! HA!
Be careful or you'll be having a pet rabbit soon!! And I was scared that was a rabbit on the grill!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteHahahaha! I bet it didn't taste at all like turd! ;) And yeah...be careful of the bunny road.
ReplyDeleteYou know, I didn't realize you could litter box train a rabbit either until a friend got one. While over at her house, I saw her (rather large) rabbit roaming free. I thought she was insane letting it go free on the carpet, but I was even more shocked when she told me that it knows how to use a litter box!! Crazy! Now if I could just teach my chickens to do that...
ReplyDeleteOk, I'm gonna be honest...after seeing the bunny pictures, when I saw the steak on the grill i thought (though very briefly) "Oh my gosh they are cooking a bunny." Yah...I know...weird brain...still, it looks like one... ;-)
ReplyDeleteSo sweet with all the bunnies! And I am with Sandy... I was cringing at the thought that the grill might have had a naughty bunny on it!
