I really didn't want to as I remembered what happened the first time around with your brother.
I knew it just might never be the same.
But it was time.
Some comments in the store... the constant brushing the hair aside.
I knew it was time to cut Ryder's hair.
Pre-Hair Cut on a Good hair day |
But don't worry- it was just a trim
I am keeping those curls around as long as possible.
I would say I did not too shabby of a job for a girl with no training, some scissors and a wiggly toddler.
You did really good! He's so adorable!
ReplyDeleteHe looks so handsome. I have to say though, my heart sunk when I saw you take that first big chunk off the top of his head. Wow!
ReplyDeleteSo cute!
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet little face. I would have had a hard time cutting those curls at all!
He is such a doll! You really did do a great job. And I seriously can't imagine having kids with curls - my kids all have stick straight hair!
ReplyDeleteHe's happy and you're not crying. I call it a win!
ReplyDeleteMimi is right! A total win! And you are very brave. I cut girl bangs, and I don't even do that anymore. They want pros now. Psssh! Whatever.
ReplyDeletePS You did good, and he looks adorable as ever! HE!!! Dumb people!
ReplyDeleteWow I am impressed! You did a great job!
ReplyDeleteHe looks awesome! I know, I have the same problem with my little Curly.
ReplyDeleteSandy
OK … whew! It ws just a trim. Well done. He still has those adorable curls.
ReplyDeleteLove the shirt! Your video gave me such a huge smile, it is time when people say "She's so pretty!" lol, he's very handsome, and you did a great job! I'm glad it's still mostly curly.
ReplyDeleteIt looks like he has even more curls now! I'm glad you kept them. You did great!
ReplyDeleteI'm impressed! I would be too scared to do it. He looks like a darling little man!
ReplyDeleteOhhhh I remember how this feels!!! Lexie had beautiful curls that we let grow all down her back, but eventually it began to look funny with straight hair on top and curls at the bottom so we cut it. I took about 100 pictures before we did though. :o) I think Ryder still looks just as cute as he did pre-hair cut! And good for you for doing it yourself!!
ReplyDeleteHe looks fab!! I love the curls. Good job Momma!
ReplyDeleteOh that first hair cut is a killed but he did good and looks so cute. Good job saving most of the curls.
ReplyDeleteGood job Mom! He looks just as cute as always and he still has his curls. :)
ReplyDeleteYou did do a good job! The cut just made his hair curlier and bouncier! What a baby doll!!
ReplyDeleteAw. Adorable!
ReplyDeleteOh those curls! He is so cute!!!
ReplyDeleteSOOOOOOOOOO Cute! Glad you kept some curls! I am hoping for a curly bleach blond daughter someday...but not sure where the cursl will come from haha
ReplyDeleteHis curls are so cute!
ReplyDeleteAwww, you did great!!! Hang on to those curls for as long as you can!
ReplyDeleteYou did a great job! I love his curls and how you reigned them in! My 3-year-old has needed a haircut for a long time and I've botched it a few times, so his hair is pretty long right now. I need to try again. Thanks for the motivation!
ReplyDeleteYou did a great job! I would not want to clip those curls either. Love them!
ReplyDeleteThose curls are darling! Glad you kept them around.
