Don't your kids ask for you to take pictures of their butts?
Writing a note to Santa so he knows where the milk is
Uh-oh- somebody found Santa's cookies!
And remembering the true meaning of Christmas as we read and act the birth of our Savior.
What do you do on Christmas Eve?
So sweet! Don't be sad, there is always magic no matter the age! Your kiddles are still small enough :) These pictures are so cute. Love the Pyjamas. So so sweet. We have our big meal on Christmas Eve, then open all the presents that aren't from Santa. The kids had a scavenger hunt so to speak with their last Advent Calendar day on Christmas Eve. They found The Polar Express in 3D. It was nice. We all sat around after the big meal in our 3D glasses. I am still laughing inside thinking about Ryder's gingerbread house!!! :) He's gotten so big!! Happy Holidays!!!

Love the traditions! =)
ReplyDeleteSo wonderful and awesome. Looks like our little man sure helped Santa out with the cookies. Love you guys!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteIt looks like you guys had a great time! We did gingerbread houses on Christmas Eve too but the kits my sweetie bought were from the Home Depot so they looked like little Home Depot buildings with orange frosting. The kids loved doing something different and they were cheap, only $5. We had 4 kits and they had to share.

I absolutely LOVE that Ryder joined in to help Santa eat his cookies. Were there any left... lol :) looks like you guys had a blast making gingerbread houses! I need/want to do that sometime!!
ReplyDeleteI am SO SAD. Christmas is my favorite and it's so much more fun now that I have a little one. I love all your traditions and your photos are beautiful (as usual!) The gingerbread houses are so awesome. I can't wait until my daughter is a little older so we can do things like this too. :)
ReplyDeleteAwww, your kiddos are so adorable! I had so many emotions this year. After losing my brother-in-law earlier this year, the whole family has been so torn up. Christmas was definitely not the same. I'm really looking forward to a fresh new year!
ReplyDeleteYes, I'm right there with you...sad about Christmas ending :(
ReplyDeleteHow great is that picture of the three of them in front of the tree??!! Frame that one!!
Your babes are so precious! I'm like you, I was totally sad to see it end this year :(
ReplyDeleteSuch precious pictures! Love those gingerbread houses, and your sweet pj-d kids! I always have a let-down feeling for a few days after Christmas. Sad, really, I ought to be able to keep the Christmas message w/ me all year!
ReplyDeleteMerry Merry Christmas!! We do Eve Pjs too right after they shimmy out of their church clothes ;). The pictures show how festive the spirit is at your house!!!
ReplyDeleteHope you had a great Christmas! I know the sad feelings once it's over. I usually get them too. This year I especially had to keep things in check because it's the last year we'll be in our current home before we move. so bittersweet. wishing you and your family the best in 2013 :)
ReplyDeleteDarling pictures Emmy. Those Ginger Bread houses look so much better then how ours turned out to be. But boy it was so much fun for the kids. Our Christmas Eve was a disaster but Christmas Day made up for everything.
ReplyDeleteThose are beautiful pictures. I just adore the ones of the kids enjoying the tree.
ReplyDeleteLove your pictures-and you actually got them all smiling and sitting still in front of the tree!
ReplyDeleteI always feel a little down after the holiday. It gets worse on New Year's day when I have to put away all our pretty decorations. The house feels very empty afterwards. Sigh. But at least we have something truly amazing to look forward to this spring!! :-)
We go to church and then come home and look forward to the morning! Love your pictures. :)
ReplyDeleteLove the pictures! I am sad after too. It's a very fun date and anti-climatic after. But glad you had a fun day. We did too!
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful time it looks like you guys had!! Happy New Year.. almost :)
ReplyDeleteOh this is just a classic Christmas Eve! Love it! The houses are fantastic (I would eat Ryder's first) and the shots with the PJs are hilarous and I love the somber ones looking at the tree and then the little elf that stole Santa's cookies!! Just wonderful. Your kids are SO SO CUTE!
ReplyDeleteFun fun! And gorgeous pictures! Cute and fun. This season was so awesome. That Ryder pic with the cookies will always be a favorite!
ReplyDeleteLove the idea of decorating gingerbread houses on Christmas eve. Ours is usually filled with lots and lots of cooking (mainly by me).
ReplyDeleteLooks like a really wonderful Christmas Eve!
ReplyDeleteI love the photo of the kids jumping... reminded me of "no more monkeys jumping on the *couch*" :)
