Loose Tooth

Do you know anyone who lives life really big?  Where everything is exciting, everything is fun, or life ending horrible.

I know someone like that.  And she has her first loose tooth.

A few days ago she was eating a lollipop.

Alex: "Mom, my tooth hurts!"
Mom: "Come here, let me see?  Which one?"

She pointed, I reach and wiggled.

Mom: "Your tooth is lose."
Alex: "REALLY!!  I have a loose tooth!!  When is it going to fall out?  What if it falls out at church?  Can you bring a bag in case it falls out at church?  I have a loose tooth!!!"

Since she has discovered that lose tooth it is all she talks about, constantly wiggling it.

Alex: "Maybe we shouldn't go to the park, what if it falls out at the park?"
Mom: "Miss, it is barely wiggly yet it is not going to fall out at the park."

Heaven help us when it really is ready to fall out, I don't think she will want to go anywhere.

  1. How cute!! It'll probably fall out when she least expects it! Lexie wiggled her first one every single day, and nothing. Then one morning she was eating grits for breakfast, and there it was! ;o)

  2. I might have a similar personality, my hubs calls it my inner drama queen, but whatever!

  3. My red headed beauty, if it falls out and you loose it, don't worry, the tooth fairy will take care of you. I have that on good authority.

  5. That reminded me of Ryan's first loose tooth. He kept pushing at it with his tongue until it came out.

  6. My oldest daughters first loose tooth hung by barely a thread because she refused to let us touch it. Finally she gave in and let my mom see it and she was able to get it out with a tissue and hardly touching it.

  7. My kids are exactly like that too! With their teeth it's major drama!
Well, my oldest, he's not so much anymore. His barely gets loose now and he's all, "Mom, you gotta pull this!!" And one time I did and it was kinda hard...wasn't ready. He's like, "Whatever."

  8. So cute. she cracks me up! Ethan's third loose tooth has been wiggly for over a month now and still no signs of ever coming out. It sure is fun when they do though. Although with the drama you might experience ... get that camera ready!

  9. She's so sweet! Kids are really brave. I mean, imagine if our teeth were falling out lol. I'd be wreck. Funny you mention the park. Lucas lost his molar once at the park summer camp and we did have to go looking for it! We actually found it by the picnic tables. geez. The things we do!! Tooth hunting. Never in my dreams! Your daughter is such a cutie. I hope it all goes well!

  12. Ok the fact that I read this whole post is something because lose teeth give me the creeps! Like full on grosses me out. I NEVER pulled any of my own teeth as a child. My uncle did it. When we have children that will be 100% up to my hubby to take care of.

  13. She is so cute! I used to hate having loose teeth and I'd just yank them out! I cringe thinking back to that. Ouch!

  14. Ha ha!!! It's so fun when they get that first loose tooth (poor Itty Bit has been so sad that all his classmates keep losing theirs and now? He FINALLY has a loose tooth! :)

Love that picture of your little cutie!

  15. You've got a cutie there! That's intersting too, considering that most kids don't like to have a loose tooth... Right... I don't have any children, but I remember fearin the pain of having my tooth pulled. Nonetheless... good luck on the process :)

  17. That is too cute and funny. Monkey lost a tooth at school a couple of weeks ago. Then she ACTUALLY lost it, because she took it out to recess to show her friends!

She was devastated, and wrote a not to the tooth fairy - it was hilarious. Maybe I'll post about it in next week's PMM.

  18. I had lunch with my son at school today and all the kids did was talk about their loose teeth. Jake hasn't had one yet but the dentist says they should be coming in soon so he keeps wiggling all of them convinced they're moving. So exciting for them!

  19. Yep she does live life to the fullest...never a dull moment in your house!

  20. My oldest is exactly like this... EXACTLY! Makes for quite the drama all.the.time. Sigh. This is where I tell you you are blessed to have only 1 girl. LOL.

Even though Amira is on loose tooth #6 it is still the biggest deal & she tells me & shows me (gross) no fewer then a dozen times a day that it is looser then it was (5 seconds ago?) I don't mind a loose tooth but I certainly do not want to see you wiggling it & it being a bit bloody while we are eating dinner, watching tv, etc...

SOOO exciting it is her 1st though... hope the Tooth Fairy is REALLY good to her :)
