Chances are you are writing something about your kids anyway- so most likely it will fit. Please grab the button for your post. My co-host Kmama is taking another week off to fully enjoy her baby but will so be back with us.
You always hope you will have a strong influence in your children's lives; but we all know the time will come when others start to have a big pull too, friends, teachers, and of course siblings.
Ryder adores his siblings and is so often picking up things they do. And sometimes-- well sometimes they deliberately teach him things.
Why is Ryder celebrating here?
It isn't just the popcorn- though that makes me happy with it's yellow buttery goodness.
Mmmmm..
Sorry got distracted. Why is he happy and celebrating.
Well, because he learned a new "skill".
Something his sister took the time to teach him.
Something that they called me over, excited. "Mom you have to come see this."
And what were they so desperate to show me?
Ryder now knows how to eat like a horse.
Ah siblings. The things they teach their little brother.
What a "proud" moment.
And for your enjoyment- I even got it on video. And you should watch this twice- it is less than a minute long. The first time just watch the cuteness that is Ryder-- then watch it again and watch Alex's face when I call her out.-hilarious.
What is your Proud Mommy Moment this week?
That is just too cute! I love how excited he is :)
ReplyDeleteLove it! Her face was priceless.
ReplyDeleteThat's awesome. I love it! And yikes...I don't even want to think about what 4 older siblings are going to be teaching this new baby!!
ReplyDeletehaha! That is too cute... I sooo would have done something like this with my little brother when I was a kid! ;)
ReplyDeleteHahaha! It reminds me of the little brother from The Christmas Story. "how do little piggies eat? Show me how little piggies eat!" the mother says to her son. Adorable!

ReplyDeleteThat is awesome! Well what are big sisters for if not to give great advice & teach new things. LOL
ReplyDeleteI don't really have enough material or pictures to write an entire blog post about it but my mommy moment this week was when I taught my four year old to snap his fingers. The first time he did it successfully he farted with joy :)
ReplyDeleteHa, very cute!!

ReplyDeleteBetty doesn't have an older sibling, but so far from her older daycare friends she has learned that burps are funny. Great.
OH how cute! And you have all these fun videos so someday when they have kids you can be like, see this was you at their age :)
ReplyDeleteHe's cute!!! Someday that little talent might come in handy... I can't imagine how, but maybe??? :)
ReplyDeleteSee … without siblings, my son will never learn how to eat like a horse!
