You always hope you will have a strong influence in your children's lives; but we all know the time will come when others start to have a big pull too, friends, teachers, and of course siblings.
Ryder adores his siblings and is so often picking up things they do. And sometimes-- well sometimes they deliberately teach him things.
Why is Ryder celebrating here?

Sorry got distracted. Why is he happy and celebrating.
Well, because he learned a new "skill".
Something his sister took the time to teach him.
Something that they called me over, excited. "Mom you have to come see this."
And what were they so desperate to show me?
Ryder now knows how to eat like a horse.
Ah siblings. The things they teach their little brother.
What a "proud" moment.
And for your enjoyment- I even got it on video. And you should watch this twice- it is less than a minute long. The first time just watch the cuteness that is Ryder-- then watch it again and watch Alex's face when I call her out.-hilarious.

ReplyDeleteI don't really have enough material or pictures to write an entire blog post about it but my mommy moment this week was when I taught my four year old to snap his fingers. The first time he did it successfully he farted with joy :)

ReplyDeleteBetty doesn't have an older sibling, but so far from her older daycare friends she has learned that burps are funny. Great.
