Marriage and a Father

Do you know someone who's sentence you can complete before they do?  Do you know someone who makes you feel totally safe and secure?  Do you know someone who makes you laugh, makes you smile, makes everything seem like it is going to be okay?   Do you know someone that you are glad you are going to spend the rest of forever with.

I do.

For me that someone is my husband.

This weekend was a special one for us; not only did the kids and I get to celebrate the amazing father he is but Eric and I also celebrated 12 years of marriage.  

We celebrated with a date (no kids) trip to Knotts Berry Farm.  We got to ride all the big rides and relish in how nice it is waiting in line without kids complaining about how long the line is.

Sunday was sweet notes from the kids,

    Happy anniversary you two!! What a beautiful family you have and I love that you guys celebrated your anniversary at Knotts a berry Farm! On our 25th we went to Disney Land without kids and it is really nice selfishly speaking!! Ha!

    Such a sweet post and you have such an adorable family. You can tell how much you and your hubs love each other and I really want to get a snow cone maker now! I saw these somewhere and should have bought it! Summer heat is already here...agh!
