I heard Alex wake up and say "It's the first day of school!" and jump out of bed.
Alex did say her tummy felt a little funny and I said mine did too.
After just a couple of days of school I am already loving not having the mid-day kindergarten pickup. I didn't realize how much it really makes it nearly impossible to do anything during the day.
And Ryder.... well he didn't want to be left out.
Amazing photos! We still have 3 weeks to go. Allison seems pretty excited but Ryan not so much.
ReplyDeleteHow long until Ryder is in kindergarten? Scratch that - you don't want to think about that mid-day pickup right now! :o) Hope they have a great year!
ReplyDeleteI'm looking forward to the kids going back to school. It's the whole regular schedule thing that I really like about it.
ReplyDeleteThe kids look so cute too!
Oh my gosh... Back to school already?! That's crazy!! Summers seem to just fly by... Kids here don't go back for another couple of weeks. It makes MY tummy feel funny, and I haven't been in school for over 10 years! haha!! Adorable pictures :) Glad they were excited!!
ReplyDeleteOh I HATED the whole half day kindergarten with my bonus child!! It just seemed like a waste to me.
ReplyDeleteFor the first time in nearly 13 years of motherhood, I'll have 3 children in full day school. Not sure what I'll do with my time!
ReplyDeleteCute cute kids! I love how you have them holding signs. I always think I'll remember what year was what, but I probably wont. And RYDER!! Ack! SO CUTE!
ReplyDeleteWhy do you kids looks so big now? Especially Alex!
ReplyDeleteSo cute and so fun! Love that Ryder joined in the fun. I have mixed feelings as this will be our first real school year.
ReplyDeleteAwhhh!! I love the pictures! Here's to a great school year!
ReplyDeleteThat pic of Ryder is just too cute! I hope they have a great year.

ReplyDeleteI know!! Tell me about it-- they are growing up too fast
ReplyDeleteYes, I have so many pictures of myself as a kid that I have no idea when they were from
ReplyDeleteLove it!! Are you going to volunteer in your kids classes at all?
ReplyDeleteYes totally! Though I don't know if full day for kinder is a good thing, just annoying for pickup
ReplyDeleteYes those first day butterflies just don't ever go away. We definitely started early
ReplyDeleteThere is something nice about schedules but I must admit I was not ready at all!
ReplyDeleteLol-- yes I don't. Next year he will be in preschool a couple of days a week, and then kinder, so yea this is my last year for a couple of years without the mid-day thing
ReplyDeleteThank you! I hope you totally enjoy your last 3 weeks of summer
