First Day of School

Monday was my kids first day of school.  As the day approached I felt mixed emotions, everywhere from dread to excitement.   My kids, they were just excited.

I heard Alex wake up and say "It's the first day of school!" and jump out of bed.

There was no complaints or moaning about having to get ready, just excitement.

Alex did say her tummy felt a little funny and I said mine did too.

After just a couple of days of school I am already loving not having the mid-day kindergarten pickup.  I didn't realize how much it really makes it nearly impossible to do anything during the day.

And Ryder....  well he didn't want to be left out.

  1. Amazing photos! We still have 3 weeks to go. Allison seems pretty excited but Ryan not so much.

  2. How long until Ryder is in kindergarten? Scratch that - you don't want to think about that mid-day pickup right now! :o) Hope they have a great year!
