Some subjects just seem so taboo to talk about including pooping- but hey as the popular kids book says 'everybody poops'.
Since everybody does it, let's talk about it and talk about how you keep yourself clean.
I once had another mom tell me there are two things her daughter loves about coming and babysitting at my house, our Apple TV (after the kids are in bed) and our soft toilet paper; hoping she likes watching my kids too... but anyway. I definitely want to keep the babysitter happily coming as Eric and I like to go on lots of dates so good thing Cottonelle has some really soft toilet paper.
Sometimes though when my tummy likes to act up and I just have one of those days, I end up having to wipe a lot and no matter how soft the toilet paper is my bum starts to get a little sore.
So what other solution is there? Wipes? But you can't flush regular wipes and they seem like they are something for babies.
Don't get me wrong, I am a HUGE fan of wipes, for sticky hands, cleaning up little spills, and wiping sticky faces- but what about my own bum? I totally use a wet washcloth in the shower to clean downtown but for some reason the thought of using a wet wipe while going to the bathroom sort of weirded me out.
I got a package from Cottonelle with their Cottonelle Fresh Care Cleaning Cloths in a newly designed container.
It does not recommend flushing more than a couple cloths at a time, so I did my initial cleaning with Cottonelle toilet paper and finished up with a wipe...

I think I may just have to get some of these! My little girl has major issues when it comes to wiping so I need to try these out. We've had many a clogged toilets from wet wipes or too much toilet paper.
ReplyDeleteWe love those wipes! They are amazing! And we've never bought any other brand besides Cottonelle!
ReplyDeleteWe're big fans of Cottonelle! If I try to get another brand because it's cheaper/on sale/or I have a coupon for it my husband complains... such a baby. LOL!
ReplyDeleteWith a newly potty trained 2 year old wet wipes are a must. I'll have to give Cottonelle a try.
ReplyDeleteOh I like that it blends into your bathroom!
ReplyDeleteYes! That is nice as who wants more clutter?
ReplyDeleteI'm going to have to check out those wipes. We all have those days when we need them ... haha
ReplyDeleteOkay jealous that your 2 year old is potty-trianed, my 3 year-old is not yet, but yes these will definitely be helpful with him!
ReplyDeleteHusband's usually do seem to be the sensitive ones :)
ReplyDeleteI really was surprised by how great they were, I seriously was worried they would feel weird to use but they did not at all
ReplyDeleteYes out toilet seem to clog so easily and they just sometimes have trouble getting it all clean so totally think this will help out my kids
ReplyDeleteLol- yes we do :)
ReplyDeleteI'm doing a post on these too, and they are so nice to have in the house...not only for Nolan but for adults too :)
ReplyDeleteYes! Especially as potty-training happens/continues I am going to keep these stocked up as it will make life so much easier.

ReplyDeleteNever heard of them but what a great idea!
ReplyDeleteI saw a commercial on this at the gym today. I've never heard of them...but honestly a few weeks ago I was wondering why these hadn't been invented. I definitely want to try these!
ReplyDeleteI can't go to the restroom without my wipes!! There's no other way ;)
ReplyDeleteI've seen the commercial too! I'm going to have to try these. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteI have seen these new commercials too.. I love the look of their new box.
ReplyDeleteYes it really is so sleek and nice
ReplyDeleteI haven't actually seen the commercial yet as this summer I mostly watched kids shows on Netflix :)
ReplyDeleteYes, I never thought I would like them so much but they really are great
ReplyDeleteNow you know they have :) They are great
ReplyDeleteI hadn't heard of them until more recently either but I am totally sold
ReplyDeleteLove the look of the new container!! These will help with boy potty cleanups. As opposed to a half a roll of TP! Thanks for sharing! :)
ReplyDeleteLOVE how the container looks :)
ReplyDeleteCottonelle is the only TP I buy. I don't have to be paid to say that. :-) It really is the best. I'm not a fan of having one more thing on a surface in my bathroom - I have too much stuff sitting around as it it! But I love this product!
ReplyDeleteYea, I am not a big clutter person either but I like that this almost blends in
ReplyDeleteMe too!
ReplyDeleteLol- yes I have had many clogged toilets thanks to little boys, I think this will definitely help
ReplyDeleteI love Cottonelle brand products. Especially their wipes!!!
