Potty Talk with Cottonelle

This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Cottonelle.

Some subjects just seem so taboo to talk about including pooping- but hey as the popular kids book says 'everybody poops'.

Since everybody does it, let's talk about it and talk about how you keep yourself clean.

I once had another mom tell me there are two things her daughter loves about coming and babysitting at my house, our Apple TV (after the kids are in bed) and our soft toilet paper; hoping she likes watching my kids too... but anyway.   I definitely want to keep the babysitter happily coming as Eric and I like to go on lots of dates so good thing Cottonelle has some really soft toilet paper.

Sometimes though when my tummy likes to act up and I just have one of those days, I end up having to wipe a lot and no matter how soft the toilet paper is my bum starts to get a little sore.

So what other solution is there?  Wipes?   But you can't flush regular wipes and they seem like they are something for babies.

Don't get me wrong, I am a HUGE fan of wipes, for sticky hands, cleaning up little spills, and wiping sticky faces- but what about my own bum?  I totally use a wet washcloth in the shower to clean downtown but for some reason the thought of using a wet wipe while going to the bathroom sort of weirded me out.

I got a package from Cottonelle with their Cottonelle Fresh Care Cleaning Cloths in a newly designed container.

I liked the sleek upright container that didn't obviously scream wipes!  I opened the cloths, threaded the first one through the hole and put it on the back of my toilet where it fits quite nicely and doesn't look bad either.

When the time came it was all ready for me to pull out my first cloth.

It does not recommend flushing more than a couple cloths at a time, so I did my initial cleaning with Cottonelle toilet paper and finished up with a wipe...

It was heaven!  It seriously felt cool and soothing and helped me feel like I got the final good cleaning without excess rubbing required.  Also, it didn't leave me feeling wet like I thought a cloth like this might.  The Cottonelle Toilet Paper and Cottonelle Flushable Cleansing Cloths were the perfect 1-2 punch to a clean/not raw bum.

Love the look of the new container!! These will help with boy potty cleanups. As opposed to a half a roll of TP! Thanks for sharing! :)

  32. LOVE how the container looks :)

  33. Cottonelle is the only TP I buy. I don't have to be paid to say that. :-) It really is the best. I'm not a fan of having one more thing on a surface in my bathroom - I have too much stuff sitting around as it it! But I love this product!
