Happies:
-Finished editing the photo shoot I did of my kids! Which actually turned out way better than I thought it did. I mean I am a professional photographer but it is WAY easier to take pictures of someone else's kides!
Here is one sneak peak, but you will have to go like my FB Photography page to see lots more.
--First grade homework doesn't seem so bad this time around- thanks to Alex actually liking homework unlike her big brother when he was in 1st grade
--Girls Night! It was our Pinteresting Night where we can bring projects we are working on-- but yea let's be honest, no one brings projects anymore we just get together and talk!
--Ryder having one day where he wanted to wear underwear and go potty on the toilet!!
He really likes washing his hands.. and wasting toilet paper... just no pee yet. |
Crappies-
-All the other days where Ryder did not want to wear underwear and sobbed about it and the fact that he has never actually peed in the toilet
--My girl's night late night hang-over I am suffering from today.. I might be too old to be out until 12:40 on a school night.. but it was worth it.
--How far behind I am on blogging- especially reading all of your blogs! Feel totally guilty, but Plants vs. Zombies 2 finally came out yesterday-- oh and taking kids to school and homework and all that other life stuff
What were your happiess and crappies this week?
We are going through teething.. I have decided they should be born with a full set of teeth...and potty trained.
ReplyDeletehaha - I can sympathize on the "late-night hang-over" feeling today! Not one drink, but I stayed up chatting at my sister-in-law's til an hour past my bedtime last night, then had to take the half-hour drive home... ugh! Couch time for me tonight is looking sooo good!
ReplyDeleteFor me this week the crappy has to be the two nights in a row that Andrew threw up for no reason that I could tell and then we had a puke free night and then last night. Well, lets just say that he has not had poop like that in his pants since he was a baby... it was terrible. Nothing like being woke up by a fully potty trained poopy toddler at 3am.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pictures! Ryder's hair is looking auburn. Love it. Glad Alex likes homework. That really does make things easier. Good luck with potty training!
ReplyDeleteWhat in the world is plants vs zombies?!?!
ReplyDeleteSorry about the potty training. That was BY FAR the most frustrating part of child rearing that I've encountered so far. I hope he catches on soon!
Oh, and that picture of Alex being Alex on your photography page cracked me up!
Dropping in by way of the link up.. your children are SO beautiful! I can't tell you how much I love that red hair! We are Irish and my mother has the same red hair (I'm strawberry blonde).. I think that once I have children, I may get myself a red head. I hope you have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteOh hopefully as it really is a pretty color. Thank you so much for stopping by
ReplyDeleteI definitely feel too old to go out that late too... I feel your pain!
ReplyDeleteLots of happies though! Yay! Happy Friday!
Yes, especially when I can't sleep in the next morning!
ReplyDeleteIt is a fun game- for the iPhone, iPad or android too pretty sure, just a fun game where you plant all these plants in your hard that shoot pees and other things to defeat the zombies, it is fun :)
ReplyDeleteYes, i love that picture of Alex, now just trying to decide what to do with it as I don't think I will get it blown up big for my wall but it seems like something needs to happen with it :)
I think it is just the lighting and coloring-- it does have a few red highlights but really is mostly blonde. I think it will get darker as he gets older and look more like Lucas' hair does now.
ReplyDeleteOh no!! That is crappy! He was fine during the day? So weird, wonder what is going on. Lucas has thrown up in the night and then been fine the next day but it was always a one night kind of thing.
ReplyDeleteYep no drinks for me either-- just late night talking about everything and anything :) Hope you can get caught up on some sleep
ReplyDeleteYES! that would be so nice... though nursing and teeth might not work so good but the potty training please!!
ReplyDeleteI'm 23 and I can't fathom why people would want to stay up past 10 p.m. ha ha! Once 9 rolls around I am falling asleep or snuggled in my bed catching up on reading blogs. I live a crazy life ;D
ReplyDeleteI think Plants Vs Zombies 2 is responsible for many, many things left undone. If we could see America's productivity on a chart, there is this little dip that happens this week.... ;)
ReplyDeleteWe get our first 1st grade homework tomorrow. I can't wait!!
ReplyDeleteOh that Ryder...he'll get it yet :) And a girls' night is always worth it!
ReplyDeleteYes he will.. I might be more gray by the time he does but he will :)
ReplyDeleteSo was that sarcastic or not? :)
ReplyDeleteLol-- yes I bet there really would be a dip!
ReplyDeleteSo do you wake up really early? Some people are definitely just morning people.
ReplyDeleteGreat job Ryder! I like this idea, the happiess and crappies :-) I definitely have a doozie for today. It's been one of those days-started with waking up to dog poop all over the hardwood floors, and vomit on every area rug. Seriously?! He couldn't just do it on all the hardwood. Grrrrr.
ReplyDeleteOh no!! That would be a horrible way to start the day! Seriously why couldn't he have done it on the hard floor??
ReplyDeletethe worst part? It's not the first time!! He's getting crated every night from now on!
