2. My bedroom makeover is slowly coming together. I have my nightstands done, finally bought some curtains, now just need to redo a book shelf, buy some new clocks, move around some furniture... oh and put all the clean laundry away (hate that part the most).
3. I am actually pretty excited to see the Lego movie tomorrow; Lucas is beyond excited and has a countdown to the day.
4. It finally feels like winter here! Cloudy, rainy and in the 60's-- but hey it does get into the low 40's at night!
5. Being a band and drama geek in high school, who the athletes probably wouldn't even look twice my way, I secretly get a total thrill from being married to an athlete who is the star of his basketball team. Hearing the guys from the other team tell my kids that my husband is their hero is just a total ego trip.
5 Picture From the Week
That picture through the rainy window is gorgeous!!
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean about being married to a great athlete. Cory played soccer in college and was captain of his team in high school. Me...I barely made it through gym class...
Thank you! I purposely left the wipers off for a minute so I could make sure to get lots of drops on the window as it wasn’t raining that hard at the time. I wasn’t a bad athlete just nothing to write home about
DeleteI can relate about how Eric plays...going to his games were ALWAYS a thrill. Congrats to Alex! So excited for her. Cute...I mean DANG CUTE pic of Ryder with the tortilla.
ReplyDeleteYes, I think every time he has a tortilla he has to make it into a monster. It is really fun to watch Eric play
DeleteHa, #5 made me chuckle....#bandgeeksunite
ReplyDeleteWoohoo! Fellow band geek!

ReplyDeleteI have a quick question about your blog! Could you please email me when you get a chance? Thank you!
Can't find an e-mail address for you to e-mail you.
Deleteyeah, Eric would have been too cool for me in high school too. lol! Way to go Alex!
ReplyDeleteYes, he will claim he was not cool in high school, but I don't believe it :)
DeleteI love the picture of Ryder with the tortilla! And the cheeseburger looks so good! We're very excited about the Lego movie over here too! Hope it gets warmer for you soon!
ReplyDeleteIt was so yummy. We loved the Lego movie, it was so cute, what did you think of it?
DeleteI never realized or paid attention (might be because I'm nose what the baby's will look like) but your eyes are sooooo pretty!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much!
DeleteTortilla pic is awesome! Winter in SoCal.....so different from everywhere else!
ReplyDeleteYes it definitely is. Every once in a while I miss real seasons but then when I am heading out anywhere and often don’t even need to take a coat, yea I like it
DeleteWe want to see the lego movie too and we're adults. It looks funny! That burger looks so tasty!
ReplyDeleteYou should, it is really good and had a very sweet story to it in the end too
DeleteOH My.... does that burger have an egg on it? Regardless, it looks amazing!
ReplyDeleteIt sure does, I love a fried egg on a burger :)
DeleteThat burger looks great. I haven't had a good burger in a LONG time!
ReplyDeleteWe made these at home, my husband grilled the burger and bacon and I fried the egg inside :)
DeleteHello from SITS Girls! How was the Lego Movie? I have no kids but think it looks awesome ;)
