Lucas got sick (seriously too many of our trips include someone getting sick!)
Eric and the other two hiked (it was sad to see how low the water was-we need rain!)
And we returned to reality-- where in 1 hour the temperature rose over 30 degrees as we descended down the mountain.
It was a great weekend and was a huge benefit to get away from the heat. Enjoy this short little video of some of our weekend fun.

ReplyDeleteYea really more like one day even- we got there Friday night, and did everything but the hike on Saturday.
DeleteOh my gosh, it looks like you guys had so much fun. We usually do weekend getaways too, like a camping weekend in Banff National Park or at Little Bow lake. Where we live now, we have a private community lake so it makes it too easy to just stay put and veg on the beach.
