Like the one time Ryder left a wrapped starburst in his white church shirt pocket, made it all the way through the dryer before it was discovered.
I have found a few Legos before, not quite sure why they were in someones pocket in the first place.
And of course there is money, though I don't find this nearly enough in my laundry.
But yesterday, I had a first, something I don't think I would ever find in my washing machine....
I was throwing in a load of towels and placemats when I heard a clink. I turned off the water and started pulling out the towels I had thrown in. I couldn't see anything, so I stuck my hand in the soapy water that had already filled the bottom and pulled out a fork.
A fork....
I guess one of my kids was trying to clear the table the really fast way.
Wonder if I will find a plate next time?
What is the strangest thing you have found in your laundry?
I don't have kids but I do have a husband. I have found, crimp connectors, electrical wire, screws, screw driver, sunglasses. You name it I have pretty much found it. Not much money for me either. Have a great day.
ReplyDeleteThe worst is when someone leaves a tissue in their pocket and then all the clothes are covered in tiny little pieces of tissue! I hate that!!
ReplyDeleteA fork. Love this!
ReplyDeleteOh that is too funny! I have found a lot of random little miscellaneous things from the boys - candy wrappers, rocks, pennies, small toys, etc. John on the other hand leaves me a lot of fun things - flashlights, screws, washers, cell phones, etc.
ReplyDeleteSadly my husband once put his phone. And iPod. through the was. It was a sad sad day when I was folding clothes and made the discovery. But a fork?! That is just too funny!
ReplyDeleteI haven't found that, but I've found my car keys there twice. Neither time was it my fault other than I didn't check Mark's pockets because they came out of his pants, but they were my car keys both times. Sad thing is I was running late for work both times.
