1. Alex's basketball team has really clicked the last couple of weeks, last week they won 17-6. Tomorrow they play the one team that is killing every team, it will be our second time playing them (only 4 teams in her division), they will probably beat us again, but I think we will give them a run for their money this time.
2. For better or worse I did it, I turned in my application to be part of the PTA board... it isn't a guarantee yet but I know someone in the presidency on the board so it will probably happen.... haven't decided if that is a good thing or not.
3. On Wednesday Alex had a 2nd grade performance, it was a patriotic performance. She had a speaking part, was one of the teachers and she did great. Before her performance her teacher told me that all of the teachers had commented about Alex's voice and just how good she does with her part and in her words "she just has 'it', that it factor". I was a proud mama.
5. Yesterday I got a text from my SIL, my mom is in Utah visiting their family and she slipped and fell walking down some stairs and broke her ankle. She had surgery last night. I haven't heard yet how it all went. Rather ironically, she is in the same hospital that I ended up in on vacation when Ryder was born 8 weeks premature.

ReplyDeleteFor the record, I think you'd be great on the PTA board!! Next year, will all 3 kids be at the same school?

Was your elementary school the one that did the weather channel that was featured on channel 7? Alex is so beautiful and is starting to look so mature. Such a pretty lady. Thanks for hosting this week.
