Now I understand how crazy that could get, so there are some pre-determined rules. ((You can read all the rules here))
This year's Yes Day, began the same as every Yes Day we have had, with Ice-cream for breakfast.
Then it was a trip to the Toy-Store. They scoured the shelves for a while.
Alex and Lucas both ended up with Legos and Ryder, he got a fart-gun. Hey, I had to say Yes.
We went back home and the kid watched several episodes of My Little Pony (they had just discovered season 5 is now on Netflix). Eric wasn't able to take the whole day off, so they were waiting to do the bigger things when he got home.
As we ate our lunch and watched My Little Pony, it almost began to feel like just a normal day; but then soon Eric was home and the fun began again.
A couple of rounds of bowling, which I did not make my goal in either game; my goal is always to get over 100. Bowling is definitely not my thing.
Ryder actually ended up in third place in the second game, much to his siblings dismay.
Then it was off to dinner at one of the kids' favorites restaurants, Farrells.
Yummy food, followed by yummy ice-cream and we were all spent.
The bowling picture of Ryder is so cute. Looks like such a fun day! Love it!!
ReplyDeleteThanks! Overall it was a fun day
DeleteThat looks like such a fun day! I should talk to Chris about doing this with his kids. Although they don't get along that well, so it could be a REALLY interesting day.
ReplyDeleteLol! Maybe it will be just the push they need to get along good for one day at least :)
DeleteWhat a fun yes day!
ReplyDeleteThank you! And how are you?? Off to your blog to see what I have missed, a lot I am sure.
DeleteIt's sooooo crazy to think you're already for school. You guys start before we do around here and get out about the same time. and we have snow days. weird!
ReplyDeleteWe probably have longer breaks during the year, for example we get an entire week off for Thanksgiving, so maybe that makes it all work out.
